Family Photo

Children’s ability to read increases when their parents can read with them. For those parents who are taking the brave step to pursue an education while also raising a family, being able to connect with their children while learning can make all the difference. To fully support our adult learners and their family’s needs, we must offer the support and resources that make it possible for multiple generations to learn. Welcoming children into a safe space that models the importance of education can influence them for years to come.

Toast to Literacy Postponed to March 2022

Due to the challenges and uncertainty of COVID-19, we have decided to postpone the Toast to Literacy event to March 2022. We will continue to update you with new event information and we hope to see everyone in March.

Toast to Literacy is one of the largest funding sources for Aspire’s literacy programs and has helped change the lives of thousands of North Texas residents since it began nearly a decade ago. The Toast to Literacy will be chaired by Andrew and Elise Aberg and will be held at the beautiful Statler Hotel in downtown Dallas

North Texas Giving Day Is Just Around the Corner!

2021 NTXGD Picture

This year, on Thursday, September 23, 2021, Aspire is participating in Communities Foundation of Texas’ NTX Giving Day, a one-day online giving extravaganza for our whole region. Last year, we were part of the success as Communities Foundation of Texas brought together over 3,200 local nonprofits like us to raise $58.8 million for our region. When we give together, we grow together! NTX Giving Day is for everyone, no matter the size of your gift!

Since its founding in 2009, NTX Giving Day has inspired people to get up and give, resulting in increased donations and services provided in North Texas. We invite you to join the movement and help make a difference in the lives of our courageous students on September 23.

Here's how you can help:

1.    Get up and give on September 23!

Your gift matters! On September 23, if you donate to Aspire here between 6 a.m. and midnight, your dollars will be stretched with bonus funds and prizes raised by Communities Foundation of Texas! Not available on September 23? No worries! Make your gift early between September 1 and September 22!

2.    Spread the word!

Spread the word to your friends and loved ones about Aspire and NTX Giving Day! Don’t forget to tag @aspirereadytolearn
, @aspire_tolearn, @Aspire_ToLearn and #NTxGivingDay if you’re posting online! Encourage your friends and family to get up and give as well! Communities Foundation of Texas is even offering a prize for the social media post that’s shared the most!

3.    Follow us!

Follow us on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter to stay up to date on NTX Giving Day!
