2022 Legacy of Literacy Breakfast Wrap Up!
The 2022 Legacy of Literacy Breakfast was an excellent and informative way to start a morning! It was inspiring to listen to our former student Kevin Robinson's unique message and to celebrate our first Charles Aberg Legacy of Literacy Award winner Don Murray. In addition, it is very energizing to hear and see the positive results of our programs and the dedication of our volunteers.
The morning panel discussion, led by Dr. Linda K. Johnson, laid out the issues our students face and how vital our role is in the community. In addition, the insight from Angela I. Farley, COO and CFO of Dallas Regional Chamber; Justin Henry, President of DISD Board of Trustees; and Commit Partnership's Chief of Staff Miguel Solis was invaluable. We cannot thank them enough for giving us their time and expertise.
As the need for Aspire's services increases, we ask you to join our mission as a supporter of our courageous students. Below is a link where your gift can be made and will help Aspire students who are learning English, earning a GED, or preparing for careers, face their challenges confidently!
