GRADUATION DAY AT ASPIRE!
Aspire held an in-person graduation for its SEE Level 1 class for the first time since the pandemic lockdown. A dedicated and determined group of students completed the first step in a program designed for adults who desire to improve their reading, writing, and communication skills.
SEE classes, held at Frazier House in South Dallas, are led by passionate teachers specially trained by the Shelton School. The SEE, or Sequential English Education, curriculum was originally written by Dr. Joyce Pickering. Dr. Pickering worked with Aspire staff to adapt the program for adult learners. Volunteer teachers are fully committed to supporting each student’s success.
Surrounded by family, friends, and Aspire staff, the graduates celebrated their brave accomplishments by receiving their certificates, taking class pictures, and enjoying cake and other refreshments. We are very proud of these students and look forward to seeing them all in the Level 2 class in July!
