LEGACY OF LITERACY BREAKFAST SPONSORSHIP AND TICKET PURCHASE ARE NOW AVAILABLE!
Since 2009, the annual Legacy of Literacy breakfast has recognized our supporters' hard work and determination. Past keynote speakers include Victoria Neave, attorney and Texas State Representative; Rafael Anchia, Member of the Texas House of Representatives for the 103rd District; and Dallas ISD Superintendent Michael Hinojosa.
Each year the organization recognizes individuals who have made a lasting impact on literacy in North Texas. Past honorees included Commit CEO Todd Williams; Krys Boyd, host of Think on KERA; and long-time Aberg Center advocate George Macatee.
The highlight of each event is the student speakers who present about their experiences furthering their education and share the impact that experience has had on their lives and their family.
After a two-year hiatus, the Legacy of Literacy Breakfast is returning on October 27, 2022! Chaired by Kim and Maury Purnell, this event will be an excellent opportunity for us to come together to listen, learn, and embrace how the mission of Aspire impacts the community.
